I love how easy it is to make your own DIY envelope bags, in fact I am in the middle of making very own! I think it’s always a good idea to have a mood board for any project you start so here is one of my many.

I especially love the wavy edge, plastic bag in the bottom right hand corner ❤

Thankyou Baby is one of my favorite online shopping sites and they have just released a ‘Vacance’ edition. I love all the prints, sportswear looks but my favorite is the jumpsuit with the kimono style throwback.

Unfortunately, they don’t have international shipping as of yet but let’s keep our fingers crossed that they will make it available for everyone to enjoy soon!

As much as I enjoy conceptual design I believe that the best fashion designers are those who can create pieces that surprise us but can also be worn in daily life. The thing I find with undergraduate projects is that they focus too much on the idea and often forget about the functionality of fashion, that it must be wearable.

Here are my favorite picks from the Royal College of Art 2012 Show.

The rumors are true. Swedish high street giants H&M have confirmed their next collaboration will be with Maison Martin Margiela.

Following their most recent collaboration with Marni, which was more conceptual than their previous collabs with brands such as Versace and Lanvin, H&M seem to be taking a step further into the avant-garde territory by teaming up with cult-favorite Margiela. Established by publicity-shy Belgian designer Martin Margiela in 1989, the house is famed for its cleft-toe boots, deconstructed tailoring and surrealist approach to classic fashion.

The new collection will hit 230 stores wordwide and H&M’s website on November 15 and will be the “work of a group rather than one designer” after the label’s founder left in 2009 and was never replaced.

With the release of this news, some people on Twitter and Facebook have pointed out, “doing a mass collab seems antithetical to everything Margiela is about and would take away from its special-ness and its in-the-know niche status.”

What are your thoughts?

Just when you think nail art can’t get any crazier, nail polish brand Ciaté have revealed an amazing new upcoming collection, Caviar Manicure kits by Ciaté.

The manicure consists of tiny caviar-like pearls applied to the nail over a Ciaté Paint Pot colour, to give an amazing three dimensional effect. Although I wonder how easy it is to recreate the look at home compared to the amazing campaign photos.

Brittania – Limited edition in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee. Exclusively at Selfridges

At the top of my wishlist right now is an ostrich feather skirt.

I would have never thought to wear it out during the day but this girl proves how simple and elegant it can look with just a simple white tee and a leather jacket.
